The Snow Ball, held at Chester Racecourse, celebrated its 15th year with a glamorous black-tie event for hundreds of youngsters between the ages of 11 and 16.

Since it began, the ball has made a significant contribution to its chosen local charity, the North West Air Ambulance.

The charity is a service which takes advanced healthcare to the scenes of accidents; reaching, treating and transferring patients to care facilities as quickly as possible. The ball-goers enjoyed a disco, a bucking bronco and a host of other entertainment together with food and soft drinks provided by Horseradish, the racecourse in-house caterers.

Plans are already underway to organise the 2019 event which hopes to send the young ball-goers home with happy faces and fond memories.
