A glamorous clay shooting event held on the Duke of Westminster’s estate raised £53,000 for charity.

The Abbeystead Shoot took place near Lancaster and attracted 35 teams from across the country, each competing to win a host of exclusive prizes including a holiday at the Royal Westmoreland, Barbados.

As well as having the opportunity to shoot on one of the country’s most picturesque estates, the 275 guests were treated to a display of more than 20 Bentleys, courtesy of title sponsor Bentley Motors.

The shoot, which is also sponsored by Lancaster’s Banks Lyon Jewellers and organised each year by PR and events agency Samuelson Wylie Associates, was held in aid of ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity.
