More than 500 guests attended the annual Crystal Committee Ball at Ripley Castle and raised £85,000 for testicular cancer research at St. James’s Hospital Leeds. The evening was the second part of the committee’s annual two-day fundraising event - day one was a clay pigeon shoot and lunch in the castle grounds.
Guests at the ball enjoyed champagne and canapés before sitting down to a four-course dinner, a game to win the ‘perfect’ diamond worth £5,000 kindly donated by Stoners of Harrogate, followed by an auction and dancing until late.
The Crystal Committee would like to thank all sponsors and supporters as well as local businesses who very kindly donated prizes.
