The Grade II listed 16th century pub, once part of the Harewood Estate, will operate as a traditional inn with five refurbished en-suite bedrooms including a four-poster room.

The Bay Horse at Goldsborough held a re-launch party following the refurbishment of the former coach house under new ownership by Goldsborough Hall owners, Mark and Clare Oglesby.

As well as being a 'local' for the village, walkers, cyclists, children and dogs are welcome. The kitchen, offering traditional a classic gastropub menu will be run by Tony Fulford, well known from Harrogate's Chez la Vie. Menus will cover crowd-pleaser favourites as well as children's specials. The Bay Horse Inn will open seven days a week for breakfast, drinks, lunch, evening meals.
