Young people whose lives have been transformed by The Prince’s Trust came together at Beverley Minster for the fourth annual Humber Futures fundraising dinner which has raised thousands of pounds for the youth charity.

Host for the event magician Darren Mac created his dream job with help from The Prince’s Trust’s Enterprise programme which helps 18-30 year-olds set up their own businesses.

‘The Prince’s Trust helped me turn my passion into my dream job. The Enterprise programme gave me the skills and encouragement I needed to take the plunge and make magic my career,’ said Darren.

The event was sponsored by MKM Building Supplies, KCOM and Horncastle Group. Cathy Philips, chief marketing officer at KCOM said: ‘This year The Prince’s Trust aims to help change the lives of 5,000 young people in Yorkshire and the Humber. That goal can only be achieved thanks to fantastic events like these which raise funds to deliver support to the most disadvantaged young people across the region.’
