Over £8,000 was raised at a recent event held in Gusto, Manchester

The equivalent of 165 music therapy sessions for sick and vulnerable children and adults was raised at a charity party in Manchester.

The Good Estate Agency held their annual event at Gusto restaurant, raising £8,250 for Nordoff Robbins, an independent music therapy charity. TV presenter Melissa Porter hosted the occasion and entertainment included an auction and music from the Greater Manchester Rock Choir.

Organisers and GEA directors Howard Ratcliffe and Jonathan Raynor, said: ‘We would like to thank everyone who attended, those who kindly donated prizes and our fantastic sponsors. We are proud to be associated with the wonderful music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins and urge people to come along next year to what promises to be another incredible event.’
