The House Beauty Spa hosted another of its successful book club events, this time at the Holdi Liverpool Indian restaurant in Woolton village, with author Ivor Peters and his latest book, The Urban Rajah’s Curry Memoirs.

Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception and a selection of Punjabi delicacies. This was followed by the author giving an insight into the book’s recipes before a question and answer session with the charismatic writer. He shared stories of his family’s love of spices and tales of growing up in Slough in the 1970s. Guests were given a House Beauty Spa goody bag, which included an Aromatherapy Associates gift set.

Located in Allerton, The House Beauty Spa is situated within an idyllic Georgian townhouse, offering luxury beauty treatments. Their book club has gathered momentum recently. Past authors who have visited include Judy Finnegan, Gillian Flynn and Lyn Andrews.
