The inaugural Westholme Association Summer Ball took place at Shaw Hill Golf and Country Club, Whittle-le-Woods.

Visitors were treated on arrival to a champagne reception before sitting down to a three course meal.

Across the evening, two raffles were held with prizes including a flat screen TV, a case of champagne and dinner, bed and breakfast in a Lake District Hotel, successfully raising over £8,000 for the Blackburn school.
