A glamorous ball in Knutsford boosted the Lullaby Trust.

A charity ball attended by 400 people helped to raise £19,043 for the Lullaby Trust.

Organised by Caroline Hoyle and three friends, the event at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa was held in memory of her son Louis, who passed away two years ago from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

The group, named Louis’s Lullaby Ladies, held the ball to raise awareness of the charity, which supports research into the sudden death of babies and toddlers and helps their bereaved families.

It also raised money toward the group’s climb of Kilimanjaro in October. The evening was compered by broadcaster Andy Crane, and entertainment came from DJ Clint Boon.
