The Prince’s Trust held their annual Diamond Ball at St George’s Hall, Liverpool. Over the past 11 years, the sparkling event has raised more than £500,000 to support young people back into work, education and training. Guests enjoyed a Laurent-Perrier Champagne reception before going through into the Great Hall for a four-course meal. Entertainment was provided by Tony Hadley and the West End’s The Other Guys before attendees had the chance to win a stunning diamond ring donated by headline sponsor, David M Robinson. On the evening, £84,000 was raised.

The Prince’s Trust ambassador for regional development and founder of The Diamond Ball, Steve Sealey, said: ‘To be able to raise money to help young people in the region have the chance of a better life is fantastic. Having the support of stars like Tony is absolutely vital to help us raise funds to keep our work going. A wonderful time was had by all and for a very worthy cause.’
