The Royal Three Counties Show makes a welcome return to the Three Counties Showground, Malvern on June 16-18. Promising to be a fantastic day out for all the family, the eagerly anticipated annual event offers visitors a whole host of activities, displays and farmyard favourites, bringing together the very best in farming, food and family entertainment.

Visitors can expect to get their pulses racing twice a day in the main arena with daredevil displays from the Bolddog Lings Freestyle Motorcross Display Team. The spectacular Parachute Regiment Freefall Team, The Red Devils wow the crowds with their aerial acrobatics and the ring will thunder to the sound of Heavy Horses. Show jumping and sheepdog displays, are amongst some of the other spectacles that make up the jam-packed schedule which culminates in the magnificent Grand Parade of winning livestock from the day.

BBC Countryfile star and official Royal Three Counties Ambassador, Adam Henson, returns to headline the ‘Ask the Farmer’ theatre giving young and old alike the chance to ask questions about their favourite farmyard friends. Brand new for 2017 is the Wellington Boot Theatre. Visitors will be able to get an up close and personal audience experience as stars and experts in the sporting, farming and rural community give exclusive talks across the three days of the show.

The Living Village brings history to life, children can try their hand at being a soldier, and learn about the famous Battle of Gloucester featuring the fantastic team from The Woodvilles and get to try their hand at ancient crafts.

The Girl Guides join the hundreds of eager Scouts, Beavers and Cubs this year in their chance to earn a unique Challenge Badge by completing challenges and research on features around the show.

Other hotspots for the family to enjoy include the Active Avenue, an interactive area that invites visitors to take part in and watch various outdoor activities from the likes of local heroes Worcester Warriors, and national sporting organisations such as England Golf and England Hockey.

Favourite features returning include the Woolly Roadshow, the Countryside Arena featuring the Quack Pack and the International Orchid Show featuring world renowned growers.

Helping to celebrate Gloucestershire, as the host county, the Western Power Distribution Hotspot Trail will include finding Henson the Pig and completing a puzzle to win a prize from Pylonman, Western Power Distribution’s mascot.

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust are hosting interactive displays to teach all how to protect and support local wildlife.

Food and farming go hand in hand and the Royal Three Counties Show will also whet the appetite of the finest foodies. Showcasing the very best local and artisan exhibitors, the Food & Drink halls will feature regional and national produce and the Cookery Theatre hosts local chefs cooking up a storm.

The Royal Three Counties Show will take place from Friday, June 16 until Sunday June 18. Tickets are now on sale. Advanced tickets are from £19 for adults and £5 for children, family tickets are also available.
