There was no North-South divide at this big event - everyone was welcome
Thousands enjoyed family fun at the second South Cheshire Big Day Out at the Dorfold Park ground, Nantwich. A theme of a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party was adopted by organisers RedShift and Little Tigers magazine and activites included archery, cake decorating and a Strictly Learn to Dance indoor arena.
A total of £3,300 was raised which will be split between St Luke’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The main organiser, Liz Southall, from RedShift said: ‘I am so pleased with how the event went, we had lots more help than last year and raised four times as much for our chosen charities. I would like to thank everyone who supported the event, be they a volunteer, a sponsor, a stall holder or a guest on the day.’
