A ball was held at Ribby Hall, Wrea Green, raising £30,000 for the Baby Beat Appeal.
More than 300 guests were welcomed with a champagne reception at The Woodland Suite by Paul and Haley Gallagher, who lost their baby son, Luca, five years ago. He was born ten weeks prematurely while Ava, his surviving sister, spent weeks in intensive care fighting her own battle. Paul and Hayley, who also have an older daughter, Madison, decided to hold ‘The Twin Ball’ in memory of Luca and as a celebration of Ava’s life while raising funds for a good cause.
