HolLywood glamour was brought to Garstang to raise money for a local children’s charity. The Unique Kidz and Co Glitz and Glamour Ball was held at Garstang Country Hotel, and raised £10,500 for the Morecambe based charity which helps disabled children, young people and their families. Guests enjoyed a drinks reception, three course meal and live entertainment from band, The DeadBeats.
Ellen Smith, fundraising and events co-ordinator at Unique Kidz and Co, said: ‘It’s been fantastic to have so much support from local businesses and the community. Since moving into our own premises last year, the charity has grown and is continuing to expand its services. Fundraising is now more vital than ever and we have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity.’
