The University of York held its graduation dinner at the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall.
Around 130 guests including the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of York, academics, friends and supporters of the university and regional business representatives gathered to meet those who received honorary degrees including Dr Alice Maynard, Claire Tomalin, Sir Christopher Llewellyn-Smith, Rae McGrath, Philip Moore, Dr Richard Barber and Koji Omi.
They were the first graduations to be attended by the university’s new vice-chancellor, Prof Koen Lamberts
