After a four-year absence the Vintage Sports-Car Club made a highly-anticipated return to Oulton Park with its popular racing programme of pre-war and historic racing and sports vehicles.

Drivers competed for the Hawthorn Memorial Trophies, whilst the additional attraction of a VSCC ‘Club’ Day on the Sunday, featured all manner of other motoring and social activities, which ensured a fun-filled occasion for the whole family.

The Club has enjoyed a long and celebrated history at the venue, dating back to the acclaimed events of the 1960s and, in more recent years, has cultivated a strong working relationship with current owners, MotorSport Vision and their stable of first-class circuits,

The highlights included ten races on the exciting Fosters Circuit, the second of the Club’s Premier Cru events, showcasing the pioneering years of Grand Prix racing of the 1920s and 30s with a grid of original Pre-1941 cars from the likes of ERA, Alta, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti and Maserati.
