Toursit attraction in Thirsk marks special occasion.

Smiles and celebrations all round for the 20th Anniversary of The World of James Herriot, held at the Herriot Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

The event also marked the official opening of the Yorkshire Vet Room, by Cllr. Mark Robson, Leader of Hambleton District Council, and Ian Ashton, MD of The Herriot Centre. Peter Wright of The Yorkshire Vet presented a bust of Donald Sinclair (aka'Siegfried Farnon') to Ian Ashton.

The team also celebrated winning Visit York Tourism Awards - Visitor Attraction of the Year (under 50,000 visitors) 2019.
