Watch the entertaining bird shows, which are great for all ages, before heading to the nearby town of Moreton-in-Marsh where you can browse the weekly market and explore the 18th century buildings.
Other towns and villages that are well worth visiting include Stroud, Cirencester, Burford, Tetbury and Chipping Norton. There is also Cheltenham, home to the famous Cheltenham Festival held at the Regency town’s racecourse - so why not experience horse racing at its finest during your holiday here.
If you’re interested in historic castles then we recommend paying a visit to Sudeley Castle near the town of Winchcombe. Built in the 15th century, the castle boasts a proud history that you can discover by exploring the many rooms open to the public. But be warned, as the castle is known to be haunted.
