20 and 30-somethings can enjoy a bit of musical nostalgia at The Rose’s Theatre, Tewkesbury, as Britpop band Toploader take the stage on Saturday February 15 as part of their comeback tour.

Toploader’s cover of King Harvest’s Dancing In The Moonlight, from their debut album Onka’s Big Moka – now in triple Platinum status – instantly became a teenage anthem, hitting charts globally in 2000 and, when rereleased after thirteen years, graced the charts again to bring its time in the Top 40 to a total of 53 weeks.

With headline spots at LeeStock Music Festival, Suffolk and AmpRocks Festival, Bedfordshire last summer, the Eastbourne-based Brit-pop band are back on the road with their recent single, This Is The Night, touring some of the UK’s most intimate venues after an extended hiatus.

Toploader will be continuing the revival trend of other popular acts from the 90s, performing a selection of their songs from their formation in 1997 to the present day.

All tickets cost £16 and are available from The Roses Box Office on 01684 295074 or online at www.rosestheatre.org
