Colleagues, clients and friends gathered at Alderley Edge Golf Club to celebrate the careers of Kristina and Irene Hulme of Travel by Design.

After nearly 30 successful years on Alderley Edge’s high street, Kristina and Irene have taken the decision to retire from their popular retail travel shop. However, the business will continue to operate under the ownership of Chester-based luxury tour operator Elegant Resorts, who acquired the business earlier this year. Hosted by Lisa Fitzell, Managing Director of Elegant Resorts, the event featured a drinks and canapé reception as well as a champagne prize draw. Kristina and Irene also took the opportunity to thank their loyal customers for their years of support and to congratulate the new owners on the acquisition of their first retail business and wish them many successful years ahead.
