South Cumbria’s annual horticultural celebration, the Holker Garden Festival, is this year marking its 23rd show with the attendance of ethnobotanist, and TV gardening personality James Wong.

You can see James in the Holker Garden Theatre at 1.30pm on Saturday 30th May 2015, where he will be taking part in a Q&A session and signing copies of his new book ‘Grow for Flavour’.

Hosted by the Cavendish Family in the grounds of Holker Hall & Gardens in Cark-in-Cartmel, the three day event, from Friday 29th May to Sunday 31st May 2015, showcases the very best of gardening, countryside, food and crafts, with a vibrant mix of horticultural displays, show gardens, country crafts and artisan produce. Highlights include guests, Gary Murdock and Pete Taylor; semi -finalists on series one of BBC Two’s The Big Allotment Challenge, and BBC Gardeners’ Questions Time Chairman Eric Robson all taking to the stage in the Holker Garden Theatre.
