It was a nostalgic evening as the 1979 graduates from the University of Manchester Medical School gathered at The Midland Hotel in Manchester for their 40 year reunion.

Guests arrived from all over the world for this incredible reunion, flying in from as far as Queensland, Australia and Vancouver, Canada.

While guests mingled and reminisced over drinks, they also enjoyed entertainment from magician Carl Royle. Before tucking into a delicious dinner, guests were able to tour the Medical School with Professor Paul O'Neill and see how its changed over the years. Those in attendance were given an address from Tony Blower, the past president of the Medical Students Representative Council who reminisced the bygone time of being a student in Manchester during the 1970s.
