The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Michael of Kent, the Duke of Westminster and Trevor Hemmings were among many to show their support for the Vale of Lune Harriers, who staged their annual hunt ball at Barton Grange near Preston.
The end-of-season event, organised by Wayne Burrow, was attended by 165 members and guests who were piped into dinner, which was followed by a night dancing. The event helped to raise hunt funds lost when the Vale of Lune point-to-point at Whittington was cancelled due to severe flood damage to the course. The good news is organisers are on track to resume the event next year.
