The 2014 GRCC Village of the Year competition is open to all communities in Gloucestershire, irrespective of their size, and is an opportunity to celebrate the way you have made the most of local opportunities to sustain or enhance the quality of life of your residents.
Cash prizes totalling £3,000 will be awarded to the winners and runners up. Entry forms are available on the GRCC website
The closing date for entries is Monday July 14 at 5pm. These can be submitted as a hard copy by post or by email to Naomi McMahon on naomim@grcc.org.uk. If you would like help or advice in competing your form, please contact us on 01452 528491.
Judging visits will take place between Monday August 11 and Friday August 22.
Representatives from each community entering will be invited to the awards ceremony ‘Celebrating Community Life’ at Gloucester Cathedral on Wednesday September 10 when the winners will be announced. This event will also include the GRCC Village and Community Agent Awards Ceremony.
