Walton Neurology Centre held a fundraising dinner at The Warehouse restaurant in Southport to raise money for their ‘Home from Home’ appeal. The appeal hopes to raise £1 million to pay for eight en suite bedrooms for relatives wanting to stay near loved ones undergoing treatment.
The dinner, which raised over £30,000, was hosted by Willie Miller and entertainment included a Burlesque performance by Millie Dollar and live music from band, The Rush. Owner of the Warehouse, Paul Adams, said: ‘It’s been amazing evening and we are overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by everyone here tonight who have helped raise much needed funds for such a worthy cause.’
