At River Dart Country Park, the fun doesn’t stop with the end of the summer, and we have lots of exciting events and activities planned for the coming months. From our annual bonfire night bonanza and an adventure-filled October half term, to the start of kayaking season, there is plenty to keep all ages entertained this autumn

Come and explore our extensive 90 acre park with a long, scenic walk or a stroll along our educational eco trail, or have a go on our exciting adventure playgrounds – then, once you’ve worked up an appetite, head over to our much-loved on-site restaurant, the Old Sawmill, and refuel with our delicious Sunday carvery! Why not bring the bikes, and have a go on our brand new pump track while you’re here?

The River Dart Country Park is open to visitors all year round, except 18th Dec – 3rd Jan inclusive, and only parking charges apply in low season!

October Half Term:

Saturday, 22nd – Sunday, 30th October

With more than 25 exciting park activities to choose from, River Dart Country Park has plenty to keep all ages entertained this half term. Explore the extensive playgrounds, rise to the challenge of the fun-filled assault courses, or take part in one of the park’s adrenaline-fuelled Dare Devil activities* – choose from a high ropes course, mega zip wire, water zorbs and more!

The park is open from 10am-4pm throughout October.

Tickets: No entry fee – only parking charges apply. Dare Devil Activities available at extra charge.

Parking: From £4 per vehicle for 2 hours, to £7 for the day

Bonfire Night Extravaganza:

Saturday, 5th November

River Dart Country Park is gearing up to start November with a bang, with the return of its annual Bonfire Night event on the 5th November. Alongside the park’s much-loved fireworks display, there will be a host of activities going on for all ages to enjoy throughout the day. The park’s popular Dare Devil activities* will also be running, as well as pony rides by

Gates open at 10am. The bonfire is due to be lit at 6.30pm, with fireworks kicking off at 7pm.

Tickets: Tickets will be available on the gate priced at £6 per person, or £20 for a family of 4. Dare devil Activities running throughout the day at extra charge

Parking: From £4 per vehicle for 2 hours, to £7 for the day (included in ticket price)

Adventure Paddlers Weekend

Liven up a dull winter weekend with Gene 17’s Adventure Paddlers Weekend from December 2nd – 4th, at the River Dart Country Park. Paddlers of all levels are invited to enjoy a fun-filled weekend of paddling on the River Dart, with entertainment on the go every evening to see you through the weekend. With an exclusive film showing with footage taken during expeditions from throughout the year, be sure not to miss this highlight of the kayaking calendar!
