The annual ladies luncheon held at the prestigious Knowsley Hall in aid of Willowbrook Hospice was another resounding success.
More than 130 ladies enjoyed a drinks reception and canapés before a delicious two course lunch. Guests were entertained by speaker Lady Anne Dodd, who told stories and memories of her life with the late Sir Ken Dodd. Dianne Swann, Senior Fundraiser at Willowbrook Hospice said: ‘I would like to thank the Ladies’ Committee for their continued support and commitment to the hospice.
‘I would also like to thank all of the businesses and supporters for their kind donations. We couldn’t do it without the generosity of our community.’
The lunch raised a tremendous £12,000 for Willowbrook Hospice.
