Fundraising on the menu
Organised by the Hospice Ladies’ Committee, more than £10,000 was raised for the hospice caring for people with a life-limiting illnesses living in the St Helens and Knowsley area. Almost 150 guests were in attendance, including guest speaker Dame Lorna Muirhead, who entertained the ladies after lunch.
Diane Humphreys, senior fundraiser at Willowbrook Hospice, said: ‘I would like to thank all of the committee for their hard work and efforts and to Knowsley Hall for their support. We are looking forward to another exciting year ahead.’
