24th October - 31st October Train Journey and Spooky Whitby Abbey The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) and Whitby Abbey have joined forces to offer a spooktacular day out this half term. Enjoy an atmospheric steam hauled trip on the NYMR’s Optimist service, two daily services travelling direct from Pickering to Whitby, dressed in your best fancy dress. Hop off in Whitby and head to the Abbey for a few hours of Halloween fun, including a creepy trail and spooky stories, then jump back on the train to Pickering to round off the trip.
