If you've never seen a badger up close, then now's your chance
The best time for badger watching is April to mid October so there is still time to take your chance this year.
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust invites members of the public to join them at Tewin Orchard and Hopkyns’ Wood Nature Reserve.
It is a wonderful place to visit at any time of the year but has the added bonus of a mammal hide, where you are almost guaranteed to see badgers, deer and other wildlife. The hide can seat up to eight people and is available for bookings so you can enjoy an evening watching wildlife at close quarters.
Book before September 30. Donation: 3 member/5 non-member. To join the Trust call 01727 858901.
To book, call 07733 051760 between 8am-9am or 7pm-9pm (staffed by a volunteer).
The hide is jointly managed by the Trust and Herts and Middlesex Badger Group. www.hmbadgergroup.org.uk
