David Branco
I was born in London to Portuguese parents. I returned to an international school during my senior years in Portugal and was lucky enough to live on a stunning coastline and very close to Lisbon – a wonderful mixture of new, old and nature.
In my adult life I’ve lived in London, Cornwall and Spain. This shows through in my work. I have recently been fascinated with light painting and enjoy the magical shots it can create. My photographs make me see the world a little differently. I love still life shots but am venturing more into portraits and hassle my children into being my models. They aren’t as passionate about it as me! I now live in Essex with my family and have easy access to the city and the coast. Photography is relatively new to me, but I am always keen to learn and grow, and also love to show the beauty in something that may otherwise be seen as ugly.
