Here are the favourites in our search for the region’s most talented artists
Towards the end of last year we launched our first competition to find some of the most talented artists in the region and we were not disappointed with the response to our call out. In fact we were quite overwhelmed by the number of entries and exceptional standard of work.
Our lead judge gallery owner Ruth Worsman, from Limited 2 Art in Bawtry, said, as she looked through the entries: ‘A great mix of style and competence and interesting to see the different interpretation of the ‘landscape’ remit. It is an honour for Limited 2 Art to be involved in this project and to see the artistic direction of some of the contenders. In my opinion one of them has the merit to be commercially viable in the art market.’
