Cotton Traders was founded in Cheshire in 1987 by fellow England rugby players Steve Smith and Fran Cotton. During their heyday, playing in Bill Beaumont’s Grand Slam winning side of 1980, broad shoulders were an on-pitch advantage, but off the pitch made buying everyday clothes a little awkward. So together Steve, from Stockport, and Lancashire lad Fran set out to create casual clothing to fit all shapes and sizes, with a quality that only gets better with age. Initially, the brand was very much aimed at male shoppers, with its rugby shirts and polo tops fast becoming the smart-casual staple for gents across the UK. However, in the past decade things have changed, with the addition of a popular and rapidly growing ladieswear collection, aimed squarely at stylish women who want to balance fashion trends with quality and comfort too.

We have three £100 Cotton Traders vouchers to give away to Cheshire Life readers.
