The shop, which has been selling Burrow Farm beef since 2010, has recently taken supply of local (reared on the Killerton estate) lamb and pork, as well as a selection of cheeses, locally grown vegetables, preserves, eggs and juices.

It’s a ‘good’ Friday at Burrow Farm!Burrow Farm shop in Broadclyst, Exeter , is celebrating the launch of a new range of products by holding a family fun day on Good Friday, 29 March.The shop, which has been selling Burrow Farm beef since 2010, has recently taken supply of local (reared on the Killerton estate) lamb and pork, as well as a selection of cheeses, locally grown vegetables, preserves, eggs and juices.Owner and Manager, Sally Grigg says: “the recent horsemeat scandal in the press has meant that there is even greater emphasis on buying local and people really do care about where their food comes from. We’re thrilled to be widening our range of products and are very excited about our fun day which will be a celebration of all of our new suppliers”This free event will be open from 10am till 3pm and there will be something for everyone. Activities include:·         A children’s Easter Egg hunt·         A nature trail across Burrow Farm·         Baby chicks being born·         Lambs – feeding and petting corner·         Plant your own veg·         Cookery demonstrations·         Samples of produce to try·         10% off all purchasesEveryone is welcome, and there is free parking and free entry.  A great way to kick off Easter weekend!
