The Edge hosted a private launch party on Thursday 11th of March to celebrate the launch of a new menu that has been carefully collaborated by the new Head Chef Stephanie and Sous Chef Gemma, both fresh from Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate Bay

The Edge Restaurant at Port Isaac hosted a private launch party to celebrate the launch of a new menu that has been carefully collaborated by the new Head Chef Stephanie and Sous Chef Gemma, both fresh from Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate Bay. The tapas style food on offer was a celebration of Mediterranean flavours and colours, showcasing the talents of the chefs as well as the forthcoming spring menu.

The Edge is now open to the public for both a casual daytime lunch menu and a full evening menu. Teas, home baked breads and the Chef's Speciality Cakes are available throughout the day, with speciality coffees from Origin created by our professional barista. Evening service highlights the new approach for the restaurant, with food sourced on a local, seasonal, ethical basis. Dishes range from foraged truffles to local mussels; and they're only on the menu if they're fresh in that day. Vegetarians and children are catered for with dishes especially created for each in mind.

Of course some things don't change. You still get one of the finest views in the area, with a vista that stretches across to Tintagel's Norman church and down over the perilous cliffs at Port Gaverne.

The Edge Restaurant in Port Isaac is also the fictitious village of Port Wenn in Martin Clunes' famous Doc Martin.
