Leeds

Bundobust is inspired by the vibrant street foods of India and has been recommended in the 2017 Michelin Guide, featured in Time Out’s top 10 UK Indian Restaurants and included in The Sunday Times’ Top 25 Vegetarian Restaurants. Their vegan options get rave reviews and are clearly marked on the menu.

Sheffield

Humpit has already acquired something of a cult following but their star is surely set to keep rising. An entirely vegan menu but with universal appeal, they have branches in Sheffield, Leeds Corn Exchange, Leeds University and are shortly opening their first shop in York.

York

Skosh had people talking the moment it arrived in town and the chatter has never stopped. With vegan options always on offer as well as a separate vegan menu, it’s the place in town for savouring decadent plant-based food. Served on small plates and best described as Asian-fusion tapas, you need to remember to book!

Hebden Bridge

Humblest of Pleasures is a fully vegan café that’s open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and is anything but humble. From a Full English to BBQ Jackfruit, Buddha Bowls and Cake, the one thing you won’t be when you leave is hungry. A gem of a place situated in a gem of town, it’s definitely one worth travelling for.

Hull

Hitchcock’s Vegetarian Restaurant is one of a kind. Only open when the cosy restaurant has bookings, the first reservation for the night chooses the cuisine. Whether that be Cajun, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Indian, Russian, Middle Eastern or English (phew!), a typical evening’s menu consists of three courses plus coffee. Quirky and unlike anywhere else, tell them you’re vegan when you book.
