Abbey College’s annual dinner took place at Players’ Restaurant and Bar, within the Marriott Hotel in Hale Barns.
Parents, alumni and head teachers from the Manchester college and local schools and businesses attended the occasion.
Money was raised for Abbey College’s chosen charity, Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury, and for Rupa Dawar, a sixth form student who will be going to Knysna, South Africa, to work as a medical and community volunteer.
Guests enjoyed speeches from Abbey students, a raffle and a quiz, creating a lovely atmosphere at the dinner. They raised over �600 for charities.
