Artist Jeremy Houghton and The Kingham Plough celebrated all things pink on Thursday May 6 2010. An exhibition of Flamingo paintings in both oil and watercolour will be on display at The Kingham Plough with pink drinks and canaps. Guests are invited to view the exhibition from 6 – 8.30pm in the upstairs dining room.Flamingos cover every square inch of Jeremy’s canvasses. This collection is inspired by his days in Africa when he was Head of Art at the International school of Cape Town, from 2000 – 2005. These paintings reflect exciting days in the heart of this great continent, where nature seems to be both bold and beautiful. Jeremy now lives and works in the house where he was born in Broadway, where he is helping to organise this summer inaugural Broadway arts festival, and running his Broadway art tours. He has been chosen as one of Lloyds Banks’ artists for London 2012 and is also known for his commissioned work featuring timeless scenes from around the Cotswolds.
