The Marie Curie Cancer Care Devon and West Somerset County Committee celebrated raising �12,000 at their Designer Second Hand & Good as New sale which took place at Bolham House, Bolham, Tiverton.
The Marie Curie Cancer Care Devon and West Somerset County Committee celebrated raising �12,000 at their Designer Second Hand & Good as New sale which took place at Bolham House, Bolham, Tiverton.
This annual event has grown over the years and this is a fantastic amount to have raised, which will fund 600 hours of Marie Curie Nursing Care in the local area. Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families.
Next years date had already been arranged for Friday 7th Oct – Sat 8th Oct 2011 and the Committee and Marie Curie look forwarded to another successful event in 2011.
