Noddy Holder was among the star guests at a butterfly themed ball in aid of the NSPCC’s Child’s Voice Appeal which raised over �65,000.

The event, held at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester, was also attended by Coronation Street stars Micky North, Charlie Lawson and Debbie Rush and included casino tables, a five course gourmet dinner, auction and raffle, and entertainment by Paul Pashley and his six piece band.

Noddy said: ‘It was a fantastic night and people were massively generous. It’s events like this that mean the charity is able to continue to provide support for so many children and young people through ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline.’

The ChildLine North West ball, now in its eight year, was organised by the ChildLine North West board committee in Manchester. And money raised with support the NSPCC’s Child’s Voice Appeal to help enable the charity’s helplines ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline for adults concerned about a child.
