There will be a Sea Safety Presentation at Burnham On Sea Motor Boat and Sailing Club, on Friday 21st January commencing at 7.30pm.
There will be a Sea Safety Presentation at Burnham On Sea Motor Boat and Sailing Club, on Friday 21st January commencing at 7.30pm.
The evening will start with a slideshow presentation with an introduction about Burnham on Sea Inshore Lifeboats and examples of their Call Outs.
Next on the agenda will be an RNLI made video on Cold Water Shock.
Finally, there will be a mixture of slides and film footage of the SAR combined rescue services exercise in August 2010. This involved the RAF rescue helicopter, Burnham Area Rescue Boat, H M Coastguard, Burnham on Sea Lifeboats and the use of Walrus owned by Rod Southwell.
Presentation will be given by Lifeboat Sea Safety Officer David Humphrey and RNLI DLA Rod Southwell, with light refreshments to follow..
