In the world of denim, there are a few trends leading the way this season. Leather look jeans have been developed further and are even closer to the real thing. Velvet skinnies in rich autumn tones and also blue denim in a more relaxed fit are also big. Animal print is back again both in denim and casual wear and there are some fantastic designs available.
If I could only buy one key piece this season what should it be?
For jeans it would definitely have to be the skinny boyfriend something like the Current/Elliott Fling or the Mother Dropout. This is a style that is going to continue to be big into Spring 2014. Another must have item is the IRO jacket, which remains a timeless classic.

This is a very personal thing, that certain one key peace for your wardrobe. We all lead very different lifestyles and no two body shapes are the same but for me that one key peace would be the tweed jacket. As a standalone item it just changes so many of the outfits you already have in your wardrobe and can never fail to look smart.

Who are we? What do we specialise in?
Jane Davies has been designing beautiful ladies wear using British textiles and manufacturing with a highly skilled factory in North Wales for more than 20 years. The double storey shop is situated in the market town of Mold which offers ladies wear and accessories from other British designers that complement the full Jane Davies collection, including day, occasion and evening wear. Clients can also book an appointment to have a design consultation with the designer herself to create a beautiful outfit for any occasion

This season’s key look from Jane Davies is a five piece jersey collection of dresses that are flattering for all shapes in a selection of strong colours. The collection has a classic round neck, cowl, bubble, A-symmetric and wrap dress that can be worn in various ways to maximise wearability.
