John Green’s Academic Strategy for Seaford pays dividends as record numbers of students head for Russell Group and 1st Choice Universities

Seaford College is celebrating as students achieve their best ever A Level results. This is the first cohort to come through to A Level from Year 9, when John Green took up his role as Headmaster five years ago.

John said, “I’m immensely proud of what all of our students have achieved, we’ve consistently seen improvements each year and it’s great to see our best ever results this year, enabling our students to go onto to their chosen route on leaving the school.”

Seaford students celebrated success across our broad curriculum. Notable A Level successes securing 2A* and an A are Tom Hennessey (heading to Durham to read History), Joseph Hill (heading to Warwick to read Maths & Physics), Zach Hodson (heading to Bristol to read History), Ylvali Koch (heading to university after an internship at BMW), William Morris (heading to Bath to read Biology) and James Thompson (heading to the University of Birmingham to read History). Holly Gyles achieved A*AA and is heading to University of Birmingham to read Sports & Exercise Science. Alex Herghelegiu secured 2As & 2Bs. Josef Amin is reading Biological Sciences and Kristina Pintar achieved 3 As. Winston Murrin gained A*,AB and is heading to Exeter to read History. Alfie Ransom secured 2As and a B. Helena Kingdon-Butcher and Ruby Pritchard have achieved A* & 2Bs. Eddie Gammon gained A & 2Bs and is going to Bournemouth University to study Product Design.
