Champagne, canapes and a catwalk at the Hilton Hotel in Mancheser helped to raise a magnificent sum for a Stockport charity.
Guests were whisked away to a Midsummer Night’s Dream at a glitzy fashion lunch at the Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, in aid of Beechwood Cancer Care. A champagne reception welcomed 280 ladies to the occasion which was themed around Shakespeare’s play. It was hosted by Trevor Jordan from Key 103. After lunch, models - most of them recovering cancer patients - took to the catwalk for a fashion show, which opened with a magical dance from Debut Arts Academy. Models showcased clothes by Fizz Fashion, Forever Unique and Slaters Menswear.
The afternoon, which raised over £35,000 for Beechwood was attended by Forever Unique owner Seema Malhotra and fellow ‘Cheshire Housewife’ Stacey Forsey, along with Beechwood patron Gaynor Morgan and actress Tricia Penrose who performed at the lunch.
