Few automotive sculptors capture the mood and emotion of their subjects in quite the same way as Birmingham-born Chris Davis. Using the time-consuming lost wax method of casting his solid bronze, large-scale creations, Davis numbers the British Racing Drivers Club, Damon Hill and world land-speed record holder Andy Green among his patrons.
All sculptures are cast in foundry bronze. This means they are all cast from molten bronze, NOT resin mixed with a bronze powder.
These sculptures are not mass produced; creating them is a lengthy process.
Some sculptures are available for immediate delivery; others can take two to three months to cast depending on my work load and that of the foundry.
