Over 300 guests celebrated the Irish Abroad Charitable Trust’s 25th year at a glamorous black tie ball at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester.

During their quarter century, Irish Abroad has raised thousands for charities, including Francis House, The Christie Hospital and Cornerstone day centre.

Trust Chairman John Kennedy told guests: ‘These amazing institutions and their incredible staff are among the most uplifting places one could ever witness. A huge thank you for all the support over the past 25 years to make many unfortunate people’s lives better.’

After a drinks reception and dinner, guests enjoyed entertainment including songs performed by Masters of the Musicals, whose singers have appeared in many box office hit shows.
