Against a backdrop of stunning views in the Hilton Manchester Deansgate’s opulent Cloud 23 bar, guests were introduced to a new champagne from a young and audacious house, Jacquart, established in 1964.

Jacquart’s Head Wine Maker Floriane Eznack and their UK Business Development Manager Diane Gonzalez, described the house’s modern approach to winemaking as brimming with passion. Jacquart and Hilton Manchester Deansgate announced the arrival of Jacquart Brut Mosaique, the flagship cuvee with a light body showcasing the elegance of the Jacquart style.

Their Brut Mosaique is now the hotel’s house champagne, the first time this has been available outside London. This mosaic of crus, grape varieties and flavours creates a combination of freshness and balance on the palate. As well as the classic Brut Mosaique, guests enjoyed the Brut Rosé Mosaique, which is an an aromatic twist on a classic. With a fine, fruity finish, including surprising notes of peach and apricot, the delicate salmon pink bubbles were enthusiastically greeted by the guests in Cloud 23.

The Brut Mosaique takes its name from its origins. The house was created from a co-operative of growers, which came together to found the Jacquart house. The mosaique refers to the original story behind this young brand.
