Home sweet home... Our Real Housewife Hanna Kinsella celebrates a move to a new home and plans to escape to the sunshine

We’re in!

We have finally moved into our new house! I honestly can’t believe they don't teach you in school about how stressful life events like this are.Even though we have only moved three minutes down the road, it was totally full on. It felt great to have a good clear out though, and there’s no better time to do it then when you are moving into a new space.

I really enjoy creating and planning when it comes to interior design, so I had a great time when choosing all the new colours and themes for the new place and will share some of this with you when we’re finally all unpacked!

Great British Life: Oh, that face!Oh, that face!

I am so happy and relieved to have finally moved in and I am content with how much better it is for the kids and the puppy, who I love more and more every day. Oh, that face!

Finding time for friends

In between the move and unpacking we attended Rachel Lugo’s granddaughter Saskia’s Christening. It was such an amazing day; it was so lovely to see everyone and she smashed it, as always. No matter how busy we are, it’s so important to find time for friends – and not just for life events such as baptisms. Not only does ‘friend time’ show how important they are to you, but it provides a different kind of happiness to time with family.

Great British Life: We are Barbie girls! We are Barbie girls!

I always feel refreshed after spending some time with my favourite girls – and a recent visit to see Barbie at the cinema was just brilliant fun. I LOVED the film, too. I love how they address so many social issues throughout the film but also made it funny.

I had no expectations when I went in there as I hadn't watched any of the trailers and I wasn't disappointed at all. It bought back so many childhood memories and all the references to the original Barbie were amazing. As an adult, there are so many aspects of Barbie that I can now relate to – and I never thought I’d say that!

We’re all going on a...

Did we blink and miss the summer?! I can probably count on one hand how many opportunities we have had to sit outside without rain in Cheshire! It's typical, isn't it?

In need of sunshine and rest time, we have booked a family getaway to our favourite place, Palma. We have a wedding for a weekend and then we have decided to stay for a little longer so we can enjoy some time in the sunshine with the kids.

Martin and I love Palma, not only because we know lots of people there and Martin has a clinic there, but because there’s so much to do for people of all ages. It’s a safe environment for the kids and you are, almost always, guaranteed some good weather!

I am really looking forward to this one now Max and Kimia are getting on, interacting with each other and playing so well.

This holiday couldn’t have come at a better time after a stressful few weeks. I wish we could stay for longer like we did last year but we just don't have the time this year.

Before we know it, we will be sorting everything out for Christmas! I was so shocked the other day when I went shopping to find the isles full of Halloween decorations and advent calendars. Then I realised it is just three months until Christmas, which I am actually not complaining about - I love the festivities and I am super excited to host parties and gatherings in the new house.

I feel like time is flashing before my eyes at the moment. The years seem to be going past increasingly faster!

My business baby

Despite a hectic summer I haven’t taken my eyes of my Icy Bear brand! We have so much in the pipeline. The team made a visit to our manufacturers and came up with some brilliant, game changing ideas I can't wait to share.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am to receive messages and videos every single day from people using our Cubby Buddy app with their little ones. The whole aim of creating this app was to ensure kids were brushing their teeth twice a day for two minutes while enjoying it – and it’s doing just that!

All the feedback I have received tells me it allows families to perfect their bedtime routine and parents can relax knowing their child has brushed their teeth properly. Our Polarpaste children's toothpaste works perfectly alongside the free Cubby Buddy app, too!

Keep your eyes peeled for some amazing revolutionary things coming this year into the children's dental industry. We are only just getting started.
