The 12th annual Devon Life Food & Drink Awards will be taking place at Sandy Park, Exeter on 5 November. The Devon Life Food & Drink Awards is undoubtedly one of the biggest events in the Devon food calendar.
The awards are designed to champion and highlight the region’s food and drink industry which includes local producers and suppliers, small farming businesses, chefs, restaurants, pubs and hoteliers, and people who care about the countryside and the future of our local environment.
Nominations are cast by you, our readers.
We want you to tell us if your favourite tea shop serves a cream tea like no other or who you would call your food hero. The recognition these awards offer makes a substantial impact on local businesses and there has never been a better time to support your local food and drink community.

Forms to nominate your favourites are available overleaf and will also be repeated in the next few issues. You can also submit nominations through our website foodawards.devonlife.co.uk
Nominations will close on August 23.
Judging
After voting closes the three businesses from each category with the most reader votes are put through to the finals. Our independent panel of judges will then visit each finalist and judge using set criteria to pick the winner.
All finalists will be invited to the prestigious awards ceremony on 5 November where the winners will be revealed.
