Record breaking crowds started the festive season at Hannahs Christmas Fayre at Seale-Hayne last weekend. Over 3000 visitors attended over two days and raised over £35,000.
Visitors crowded into the beautiful buildings at Seale-Hayne and shopped at over 90 stalls selling a wonderful variety of gifts. The Quad was buzzing with festive music from Stoodley Knowle School and Broadhempston Primary School Choirs, Torbay Concert Brass Band and LA Buskers and there were plenty of festive refreshments to keep visitors warm. Children were able to get stuck into Christmas Crafts and a Snowman Hunt while waiting to visit the all important Santa’s Grotto.
Hannahs Chief Executive Bronwen Hewitt said “We were over the moon with our Christmas Fayre having 3,000 visitors who all went away happy and impressed. Everyone worked so hard to make it the wonderful event it was. We were seeing our dreams coming true with these two magical integrated days of fun and laughter. The quality of the stalls, the entertainment and the food started the Christmas season off beautifully.”
